The helicopters on the main cover of this issue appear to be a
Sikorsky
HH-60 Pave Hawk (on the right) and a
Boeing
AH-64 Apache.
As she is about to kill the transformed Erik, Martin asks Beth
if she could really live with herself if she ended a person's
life and she responds, "I've already lived with that for years."
She goes on to point out that she was the one who "pulled the
trigger" on Bartok by pushing the button to start the
teleportation sequence when Martin pulled Bartok into the
telepod with him in
The Fly II.
Noelani carries an M16 rifle in this issue.
After absorbing Noelani's transgenes into his own body through
telepod transport, Martin emerges looking similar to the
Martinfly form he had during the final act of
The Fly II, different from
the more humanoid-looking Frankenflies that have emerged at the
quarantine facility.
